We're seeking an experienced Commercial Title Insurance Processor to support complex commercial real estate transactions throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Process commercial purchase, refinance, construction, and leasehold transactions
- Review title searches, surveys, zoning reports, and related due diligence materials
- Prepare title commitments, policies, and endorsements
- Resolve title exceptions and curative issues
- Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process
- Manage multiple high-value files while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
Required Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of commercial title insurance processing or underwriting experience
- Experience handling commercial transactions in MD, DC, and/or VA
- Strong knowledge of title commitments, title policies, endorsements, and curative work
- Understanding of ALTA standards, commercial title insurance practices, escrow, and closing procedures
- Experience reviewing title reports, surveys, and real estate documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Title Producer License (MD, DC, and/or VA)
- Experience with SoftPro, Rynoh, or similar title production software
- Experience supporting construction, mixed-finance, affordable housing, or other complex commercial transactions
Compensation: $60,000-$100,000+ depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
To be considered, candidates should have recent commercial title experience. Residential-only title experience is not the primary focus of this role.
